Was deferred from UVA engineering EA. Have a really strong midyear report but was wondering if sending a letter of continued interest is recommended. Their website states “Other than midyear grade updates or new standardized test results, we will not be able to review any edits to your application or additional information. Please do not send additional information, including recommendations, during this time,” so I’m not sure if sending a LOCI would be advisable.
UVA required those deferred to submit a form indicating that yes, you wanted to still be considered. That’s probably sufficient to show you are still interested.
