<p>Does anyone know about the Jazz band? I am thinking about checking it out. Anyone know how much of a time commitment it is? If they play local gigs or whatever? I know John is a really nice guy, but hows is group? good players, fun songs all that jazz (pun SO totally intended!)</p>

<p>I really have no idea about the jazz band. I know too much about Marching, Pep, and Basketball, but nothing about Jazz.</p>
<p>yeah the jazz band is pretty sweet. i've only been to one performance, and it was just too free form and improv for me, as a more classical player. i enjoyed it, they were very talented, i just won't typically see them more than once a year as it's not my cup of tea.</p>
<p>they are great though, led by an even greater artist.</p>
