I applied to University of Virginia via Regular Decision and recently received an email from UVa prompting me to log into my Student Information System. However, upon logging in, the SIS displays that I have not submitted any standardized testing scores. I know for sure that Ihave sent those scores to UVa via CollegeBoard because my CB account has a record of the transaction being fulfilled. I’ve emailed both the admissions office and the application information office, but both are on vacation for the New Year. What should I do? Will this hurt my application in any way?
When did you submit your application? When did you send your SAT/ACT scores?
@scholardad I submitted my application on 12/29/2016 and College Board shows that my test scores submission transaction was fulfilled on 12/06/2016.
Don’t worry. It takes a while for admission’s office to match up information.
On the UVA Admissions page (Deadlines and Instructions - After You Submit), it states:
Once you login, you will see a “To Do List” on the right-hand side of the page, listing remaining items required to complete your application to UVA. It can take several weeks to check all credentials in after the deadline.
Since you only applied 12/29/2016, your documents may still take several weeks to upload.
@scholardad Oh, I see! I just assumed that as long as I sent my scores early, it doesn’t matter when I submit my application so long as it’s before the deadline. Will this delay of uploading my documents affect my application?
@Testingearly Missed your message! Thank you for letting me know. That’s comforting to hear
