Uva, Upenn, Wash U, Duke, Vanderbilt

right, i did say that didn't i. doesn't look like i have a good enough memory to get into an ivy!

Um. 1360 SAT, 10/724 Rank, 3.875 GPA, 780-740-700 (WR-WO-USH) SAT IIs.. umm.. ECs were good.. But I went in with 1340 SAT, not 1360. Doesn't make much of a difference, except for 700 V, 660 M.

Anyways..

I'm waiting.. hopefully things work out.. but.. if they don't shrug

well good luck with that. you'll have to keep me posted! is georgetown your first choice?

Yes. But currently, out of my accepted schools, Williams College is my first choice.. second is Vandy, third is .. uhh.. Notre Dame.

I went to a private prep school in Chicago. Actually a 3.7 would get a student in the range of what you are looking at. You might also look at Georgetown, Wake Forest, UNC-CH, Cornell, Northwestern, Tufts, Emory.

thanks a lot. all of those colleges appeal to me. and congrats to tlaktan(?) on where you got in.

Thanks, but I'm still waiting on a few places, so no need to pop out the champagne yet.

I have no clue what your GPA would be in terms of rank at Hockaday, if they even give y'all ranks (thats right I'm from the Dallas area). I remember one of the lady's that talked about UPENN at one of those things was a graduate of Hockaday. I know your school places lots people in those schools. You'd probably be better off talking to your counselor because I bet Hockaday has a good idea pulling from past history of what schools you could get into.

apply ED1 or ED2 if you're serious about WUSTL because almost everyone who applied RD got waitlisted (including people with insane stats)
