So which way to go?? Probably pre-med biological sciences and interested in research, semester abroad, volunteering and good time college experience.
ANY insights to help make it easier would be great.....

Academically, these schools are pretty equivalent and any of them will deliver a superb education. Go to the one that seems the best social fit, and/or works best financially.

As you may well know, UVA has a fantastic biological sciences department. Pre-med majors can also intern at the UVA hospital. Study abroad at UVA isn’t SUPER popular, but it’s definitely doable. Some abroad programs even allow you to take approved classes for credits, which allows you to go without being set back a semester, or even a year.

Honestly, all three colleges are fantastic. As jingle said, analyze what you want out of college, and find the best fit. Definitely try to tour if possible, that’ll give you the best information.

baby2college…D had the same dilemma as you. Ultimately she chose UVa because of the social atmosphere and weather. (We’re southerners and the cold at the others was simply too intense.) UVa was everything she wanted in a college on a social level. The students overall were studious and smart, but they didn’t seem to be the…uh, how shall I say?..nerdy, grade-grinders we saw elsewhere. The spirit and tradition at UVa was very, very appealing. The Greek scene is prevalent at all of them, but again, the student body as a whole was quite different we thought. I would encourage you to visit and make your own assessment. Your perception might be completely different from ours, or you might find that type of uber-competitive, somewhat cutthroat environment stimulating and appealing. Good luck!
