UVA vs USC

<p>I am having trouble deciding between these two schools. I would be an undecided major at both, and an out-of-stater at both as well (from TX). Concerns of mine are academics (especially because i want to eventually go to graduate school), types of people, social scene, amenities (housing, facilities, etc), and anything else important that I should take into consideration. </p>

<p>Any info/opinions can help!</p>

<p>Don’t know about housing at USC (cousin attended and we’ve visited) but Charlottesville is a lot safer, more charming than Compton, for sure. And isn’t USC private anyway, unlike UCLA, which is a state school?</p>
