UW doesnt look at SAT writing section?

<p>is this true? my highest sat score is on the writing section and I heard that UW doesnt care about the writing portion or is this a false rumor? I'd like to know if they consider the writing score equaly or dont care about it at all</p>

<p>No they don’t care about the writing section. Unfortunately the writing section is the easiest section to improve on too.</p>

<p>In past years admissions officers (visit to my high school) claimed they didn’t look at the Writing section. This may be different now though.</p>
