I am taking bio 151 this semester and received 50% on my first quiz. I go to class and understand all the material but I feel like I need to dig in to some practice questions to learn. Where can I find practice questions? I couldn’t find any practice exams or anything. Should I buy an AP bio prep book and try the practice problems? Need help!
Before buying extra materials I would start by spending time with the TA to get advice. Are you making good use of the textbook? Ask the TA for study tips and befriend some classmates so you can learn from them.
Ditto the asking the TA for advice. Forget HS AP material- your UW class expects a lot more. You need to not just memorize material but know how to use what is taught to go beyond it. This is where your TA can be very helpful.
