UW-Madison Chances

Hi, I was wondering what my chances are for getting in first deadline to UW-Madison. It is my top choice and I am out of state!

28 ACT (32 English, 27 Math, 26 Reading, 25 Science, 10 on Writing)
3.63 UW GPA from very strong, respectable private school out of state
Only 1 AP (Statistics) but my high school considers all their courses rigorous.

EC’s

  • Cross Country (11)
  • Rowing (9,10)
  • Model UN (10,11,12) now president of club and won best delegate at University of Dayton conference
  • Mission Trip - 2 weeks (11) very selective
  • Community service moderator (11,12)
  • more community service (11,12)
  • another type of community service (12)
  • Senior alumni chairman - very selective (12)
  • Freshman homeroom leader (12) - very selective
  • 6 years caddying (honor caddy)

Ethnicity: White
Financial Aid: No
Legacy: No

Also, my school does not do class rank or Weight GPA.

And how many letters of recommendation are required? I have one very good one, but only one.

Thanks!

You have middle of the pack stats. Could easily be postponed or admitted by the first notification deadline. Go ahead and get your application in- one less thing to do later. btw- financial aid status is irrelevant for admissions decisions.
