I was able to sign up for one right after decisions came out. From my understanding, the slots for the MyUW days filled up very quickly.
They filled up very quickly. I went through the email link within an hour or two of receiving it and the April date was already full.
that is what I was afraid of - had to wait for lacrosse schedule to book travel.
do you happen to know if the admit students tours are a good sub?
Are those the 90 minute sessions? We didnât get a chance to book a tour either and cannot see flying all the way out there for a 90 minute sessionâŠthis is a tough one. Maybe they will open up more slots - anyone know if this has happened historically?
Yes, I think 90 minutes and lunch (or maybe lunch part of the 90 mins). on another schoolâs forum, they suggested contacting admissions directly to see if they will add another session or expand one of the existing ones. I feel your pain, it is a not convenient set of flights or flight & drive for us to get there, but we may have to do it so she can see campus, experience the less than convenient travel and decide if she likes it.
I totally agree, my son is deadlocked on all his acceptances and cannot make a decision without visiting.

My daughter just signed up for an admitted students day on April 8th. Itâs scheduled from 8am-4pm. Could be an alternative for you to a 90 min tour.

My daughter just signed up too for the 4/8 day. I couldnât justify flying from NY for just a 90 minute visit. Hoping she loves it. Right now itâs probably her first choice but impossible for her to make a decision without actually visiting.

Thanks!! We were able to grab a 4/8 spot too. Flying from NH is a little complicated, but will be worth it for a whole day of events for sure. Still has deferrals she might hear from before that date, but Wisco is at the top of her list and she needs to visit to make her decision too.

Does anyone know if there are any ways to tell if you got into UW Madison early? I applied regular decision but I can add courses already and it says âWelcome Badgerâ when I click the âcourse searchâ button.

I think itâs just generic. I also see the same.

Itâs like that for everyone. I had one apply and attend, and now another applying. For my first child, shortly before the release (morning of the release) we were able to view the tuition bill in our financial aid tile.
I recently was admitted EA. The classes thing show up for everyone. There was a SOAR tile which said âYou need to accept your offer of admissionâ or smthg. Go to add tile and search SOAR
