@DrGoogle Thanks~~
However, do a search on LinkedIn for number of CS grads at Google by school.
All of them are really great schools for CS. UMD and Wisconsin particularly are top-notch. But Chapel Hill and UT Austin are great places too. Itās down to personal preference since it doesnāt really matter where you go. They are all in different locations so itās down to where you want to be and what you want to be BY.
@PurpleTitan In terms of people going to google,then Austin>madison=umd>unc
@TheDidactic How about finding an intern? Which one is more convenient?
Austin is exempted because I have not been admitted yet.
Out of your list, Wisconsin is the best.
I just got accepted by UT-Austin,but my current major is math and I know it is not easy to switch to CS major. The problem became complicated.
No, itās not. Your odds of getting into CS at UT are nil because they donāt have space.
@MYOS1634 Thanks. Feel very disappointed about that.
@qdchen7878, why? You have options that are just as good.
@PurpleTitan Yeah, UW and Unc
UW, UNC, and UMDCP are all superb for Computer Science. Frankly, thereās nothing to be disappointed aboutā¦ Either you really donāt know how lucky you are or you are just pouting.
Imagine:
āOMG, I wanted chocolate mousse and I can only have chocolate pudding, chocolate silk pie, or peach cobler (homemade)!ā
