<p>For University of Washington at Seattle and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which one is more recognized and popular outside US?</p>

<p>I personally have a very high opinion of UIUC, but my opinion doesn’t matter.</p>

<p>US News ranks UIUC #2 in the country for undergraduate electrical engineering while UW is unranked (outside of the top 20). For electrical engineering on the graduate level, UIUC is ranked #4 and UW #28.</p>
