<p>Hey, so I'm a junior and I'm gonna apply for the governors school for math, science, and technology. Has anyone gotten accepted to the school and has any advice for the application, teacher recommendations, etc.? Thanks a lot!!</p>

<p>Haha, I only wish I was that good at math. No, I only know people who go to the academic year ones and know people that applied to the summer one (they didn’t get in). Sorry.</p>
<p>I’ve been curious about those academic year ones. How do those work? Is it the whole year?</p>
<p>They’re actual schools and yes they are all year long. Some of them are actual schools that have an all day program, and others, like the one nearest to my school, are at x school and have kids commute from their own respective schools to take classes in the morning, and then the kids go back to their respective school for the rest of the day to take their English, history, and elective classes.</p>
<p>That’s pretty cool. </p>
<p>I just really want the application to come out already because the essay is going to be a challenge to write.</p>
