the UVA students on the UVA board are actually trying to argue UVA’s science departments are better than tech’s even though tech grants 7 times as many bachelors of science every year than UVA
In Silicon Valley I’ve never met a UVa grad. VT, OTOH, we have many at our company (large aerospace) and I hear the same is true at other companies. UVa is first and foremost a liberal arts school. VT is a STEM school.
