<p>was Dartmouth supposed to send us a confirmation email or something that notified us that they received all our materials? The only email i got from them was a short link for financial aid...</p>
<p>I think they were supposed to e-mail you if your application was incomplete. You can check the status of your app online, though, with the username and password they sent you.</p>
<p>i got an invite to NYU's University Day Reception (read: not Sunday at the Square). i guess this means i'm in. unfortunately, i applied to Stern. and i'm not interested in business at ALL anymore (i just figured, Stern is supposedly the only worthwhile program besides like film). and even though I don't want to go to NYU, it feels nice that someone wants me! I feel better about my chances at Tufts and W&M at any rate.</p>

<p>i just got into Pomona today (YAY!) so even if i get into Dartmouth later this week, yeah right, i most likely will not be attended. so i guess this is my bitter sweet farewell to Dartmouth...it was a good time. ill probably still post here but my heart is already in california. best of luck to the rest of you that have Dartmouth at the very top of your list. good luck, and i hope all of you will be seeing Green covered in white snow next year!!!!</p>

<p>because i like pomona better than dartmouth. i honestly dont like the cold too much. i thought i would be able to bear it at dartmouth. but i like wearing shorts everyday. its nice. and i like california. but IF i get into dartmouth, and IF my parents let me visit, and IF it turns out to be amazing, i might just go there. but, my overnight visit at pomona was pretty nice. so im not sure. sempitern, i disagree, but lets not argue. good luck to you all!</p>
