So, basically here is the awful, awful story.

In March of my junior year I decided to go in blindly, without much studying, to both an ACT and SAT test to decide which route I should take. (I didnt have the money to take each test three times along with subject tests) On the day of my SATs, I had a stomach virus, felt awful, and well..did horrendously. I did better on my ACT and decided to go with that. I took the ACTs three times and did fairly well (a 32), and did well on my subject test.

So, last night, I was trying to send on my subject test score to Vandy (my absolute top choice) in order for it to be there in time for ED2. Unfortunately, there must have been an error on the website as the proper score choice selection didnt go through and now my awful SAT score went through as well. I understand that its impossible to cancel sending an additional score report (though im calling on Monday anyway), so what should I do? Should I explain the situation on the section of Common App, call Admissions on Monday, take the late January SATs in the case I get deferred? Does Vanderbilt, like other colleges, only look at the standardized test with the highest score? I would hate for such a small thing to cost me everything Ive been working so hard for throughout high school.

Thanks in advance, and I would really, really appreciate any suggestions or opinions; Im definitely freaking out here.
