This is torture

I got in! Got my letter today and I live in Fairfield County, Connecticut

just heard of an acceptance from Long Island today.

I live on long island and i didnt get anything

^^can’t help you there and I don’t know if it came today or yesterday (or if she was notified by another method; i.e. someone at Vandy…)…no idea…

Ok, are there any long islanders on here that have received their decisions?

jmb,
Don’t panic. In the case of both my kids, the acceptance took 3 days to make it to our mailbox which is 2 hours from Nashville. Also, both kids had a friend in town who heard a day before they did. Good luck!

Ok thanks a lot, I have just been so uptight.

Got it in New Jersey
Accepted!!
And my grades weren’t amazing, so there’s hope for everyone out there

My letter arrived today in Florida

Decision: Rejected!!!

It reads “it is with regret that I write with the news that we cannot offer you admission to the Class of 2015.”

It’s sad news, but at the same time, I got accepted to Northeastern yesterday and I got accepted to Boston University. Those were my top 2 choices, so yes this rejection from Vanderbilt is sad but then again I really wanted to live in Massachusetts a lot more than I wanted to live in the south, so it’s all good for me. Today is still a good day :)

Long Islander here - accepted! Good luck everyone.

Instead of posting here, can people post in the Decisions Thread?

Shacoria, gotta ask…how is it that you were able to apply Early Decision to TWO schools (Vandy and BU). ED applicants are not permitted to apply to more than ONE ED school. In most cases an ED application requires the signature of your guidance counselor. They are not permitted to sign more than once. Had you been accepted to both schools, you risked losing admittance to BOTH by violating the ED guidelines.

I live in Los Angeles and just got my acceptance! finally!

Still haven’t received my letter in CT.
