Is the deadline for actual scholarship essays December 1st? Or is this simply the deadline to submit one’s common app to be eligible? I saw a much older post on here saying that the actual essay deadline is the 5th, but I’m not sure if this is outdated and haven’t seen anything else corroborating this. Any info towards on how accurate this is would be great.
The current scholarship pages make it pretty clear that the scholarship application, not the Common App application, was due December 1. Sorry.
Yes, @rosemaryandthyme is correct. They stated the Common App part (the normal application) needed to be done two days earlier so the VU portal can be established. The scholarship apps are then submitted through the portal.
