No, these invites are probably like Likely letters for diversity admits.

still sending more invites ? I did not got one .

what races are considered minorities? bc i know asians are over-represented at many schools

MOSAIC is not about minorities so much as it is about building diversity at Vanderbilt. That means having a higher representation of Asians.

Hey guys, I have a question about the mosaic application. There’s a part that says to name my interests so that I can be matched with people with similar interests. I want to pick the LGBT interest option, but I really don’t want my parents to know about it because they’d FLIP OUT. I just want to know more info about it. Will they probably find out that I checked the LGBT option during the Mosiac weekend?

Just call the office and talk to Carolyn Pippen. She will confirm that they aren’t going to tell your parents what you selected as an interest. Don’t worry and have fun on campus!

Got my letter! So excited
I’m from Florida.

I’m a current student hosting this year for MOSAIC and I just wanted to pipe in and say I’m so excited to meet all of you prospies!

It already happened?!

The weekend was AMAZING! I met the most fun, nice, and brilliant people, and I loved the school. I’m completely attached to Vanderbilt now, haha. @Philovitist, I need to tell you about it. I still haven’t forgotten!
