Vanderbilt University Transfer WAITLIST Thread 2019

@ImportantInfo same here!

  • it seems like no one got off last year --______-- yikes

I think Vanderbilt is still accepting students now…so I doubt they will ever turn to the waitlist…
They accept transfer applicant until they close the class…which means transfer waitlist is not their priority at all.

… so what is the point of the waitlist for transfers then? 0.o???

someone needs to spill the tea in admissions -_____-
i have already sprouted three white hairs since may - watch me show up to any college looking like betty white

Vanderbilt waitlist is highly unlikely…so regardless of their final decision, we must start to make our plan for next year…if there is a college to transfer, then commit to it… if not, maybe thinking of transferring next year.

Took my name off the Vanderbilt waitlist…will be attending Cornell next year. Hope everyone the best of luck during this waitlist process.

Wow! Cornell is such a great school! Best of luck there! @sherlocked1

Yeah, prolly going to Cornell next year too…RIP Vanderbilt, we could of had it all…

Took my name off the waitlist… I’ve committed to USC, but still hopeful to get off Georgetown’s waitlist.

its been a good ride guys - gonna try again next year to go as incoming junior

I still stays on the waitlist…but I almost completed the enrollment process for WUSTL…might not attend Vanderbilt(and will not get off waitlist)

@kcasssuu are you going to take your name off the waitlist?

anyone heard back about waitlists yet?

also, any thoughts on if it is a good idea to update admissions with our final marks/transcripts???

They definitely won’t admit from waitlist without final transcripts. It could be a deciding factor

Just wanted to update you guys with some info my friend got from his admissions officer. She said “To be transparent about where we are in the process, we are winding down the transfer process and are unlikely to make many more offers of admission at this point.”

so did anyone get off the waitlist this year? just curious.

Kind of a joke they say “Congratulations for being put on the waitlist” and then don’t admit anyone off it.

They admit so many applicants this year…might be overenrolled…like recent years. I feel that their rolling transfer application process prevented them from using their waitlist…

is it fair to say that the waitlist is a bit of a lost cause at this point?
