I just had a small question: does the admission committee look at the stats when evaluating waitlists? Because during the online event where we could ask questions abt waitlist, they said they know how everyone on waitlist will handle the academic rigor at vandy.

I’m guessing no. That’s completely my guess though, because if you are waitlisted that means they believe you are worthy for vanderbilt they just didn’t have space. I wonder what the tipping point is for waitlists.

No. I’ve heard at this point stats don’t really matter. It’s mainly based on what they need to fill up their class, and your financial need is taken into account sometimes as well

right, because I’m reading posts on reddit as well and some ppl talked about how Vandy would look at high stats and tbh I didn’t have perfect SAT/ACT score 
anyway, I hope there is a wave today!
