because the first email asking if you wanted to stay on the waitlist was on april 29th and the first wave was on the 4th (like 5 days apart) and tomorrow is the fifth day since the second email asking if you wanted to stay on the waitlist was sent - again just speculating but who knows

No? The second wave email was sent last Tuesday so it’s been 7 days

ohhhh my bad i meant like the may 7th as the last day you could respond to stay on the waitlist and april 29th was the last day for the first email

So it’s been four days between each and they didn’t seem to release today so I think we can’t really guess at this point when they will.
Also, there is always the chance they did have a wave today and just no one here got off. I guess we will see

I guess there are not too much spots left for Vandy cuz I received this email and they said they are gonna end this year’s admission cycle…
Here’s the first two paragraphs of the email:
Greetings from Vanderbilt!
Selecting a college is a complex and time-consuming endeavor, and we appreciate the time and thoughtfulness invested in completing your application to Vanderbilt. As we end this year’s admission cycle, we look to students we admitted to aid us in identifying critical factors in choosing a college. This information will help us communicate better with future prospective students.

This sounds like an email from Vanderbilt sent to students that accepted ED or regular decision offers (not waitlisted students) and they’d like to know what made you choose Vandy.
Is that correct, or were you waitlisted and just received this?

What 16Skipper said. If you’re an admitted student, I don’t think this is necessarily correlated to the waitlist

i was admitted from the waitlist and got the email as well. it’s just a survey and it doesn’t suggest that the class is full!! i know a few people who are turning down their offers to get off the waitlist at vandy so please don’t let your hopes down
