Vassar vs. University of Washington?

My top two choices are Vassar and University of Washington (plus Wesleyan if I get in).

I stayed 3 days at Vassar a few weeks ago and loved it. It was beautiful, cozy, comfortable, and everyone seemed to know and like each other, and love their school. I talked to the professors in the sciences, and it seemed like a good program (I'm thinking physics/astronomy/math/CS), though small.
What I didn't like is Vassar felt really small. I felt I might get stifled in a community so small, where I see the same people over and over again day after day, kind of like high school. I didn't really feel suffocated by the size, but I felt like the opportunities would be less in such a small community. For example, out of the 100 or so clubs, only a few appealed to me, and there was no martial art I was interested in, no casual skiing/snowboard club, and no multitude of other interesting and eclectic clubs that I saw at others.

I only visited UW twice for tours, and loved it. It was also beautiful, though less so the second time when it was drizzling. It felt huge and like a university/college should. I love seattle, and the multitude of opportunities available to me there, from Engineering to rock climbing to Kendo, etc. The weather doesn't bother me, I'm used to it.
The size intimidated me a bit; I can be a bit shy around strangers, and it takes a while for me to "open up"; I'm a bit worried about falling behind in the social scene. Also, I felt academics would be more restrictive here than at Vassar.

help please? Thank you!!!!

How much does each cost?

60 thousand and 40 thousand for Vassar and UW respectively. My parents told me that they would be willing to pay for either, and that I should think more about where I’d “fit” and be happy

Vassar is extremely open and accepting. The students are very supportive of each other in music, theater, sports etc. There are only a few distribution requirements at Vassar so you will have more freedom to double major or explore than a school with more distribution requirements. All of the courses are taught by professors and class sizes are small. Also, take a look at the catalogs and see what your course options are. I don’t know anything about Univ of Washington so maybe someone can comment.

A final thought -in the future, it would be easier to transfer into Univ of Washington than into transfer into Vassar. This is your chance to try Vassar if you really like it.
