[Veiled] Middlebury reference on last night's Simpsons

Anyone catch The Simpsons last night (Nov 19)? Moe is invited to a writers' conference in Vermont. It's called the "Wordloaf Conference"--a thinly veiled reference to Middlebury's Breadloaf Writers' Conference. The episode featured the voices of noted authors Tom Wolfe, Gore Vidal, Michael Chabon and Jonathan Franzen.

yeah - a couple of the writers went to midd. the criminal guy, snake, has a middlebury t-shirt in one episode as either an ironic or deprecating joke, i'm not sure which. after stealing some cash he says, "thank god, now i can pay off my student loans!"

Visual proof. Enjoy. :-)
