UW GPA (3.78 ouch! I did take a boatload of AP courses so class rigor is certainly high; I also had an explanation for why I had 3 B's in the first semester of sophomore year)

<p>You have a good SAT and good EC’s. Frankly at this point it all depends on how good your essays were when you turned in your app. So at this point, depending on what you applied for, you have a good shot. Maybe like 60%, and considering how the acceptance rate was, that’s pretty good. </p>

<p>If you can clearly state in a convincing matter why Berkeley is your school and what you want to do with it, then theoretically that can overcome any unsatisfactory stat you think you have. Don’t just say what you did and what you accomplished, but make it relevant to Berkeley.</p>
