Hi,
I have been accepted into northeastern college of professional studies. However, I'm a bit confused. Since its the "college of professional" would it be considered the same as graduating from northeastern university? I know its an extension school but will my degree be considered as great as the university itself? Also, do co op programs also apply to this school?

In April of 2009, the College of Professional Studies launched an experiential learning program. During the first year, students from 14 degree programs participated in co-ops and internships around the United States. You graduate from Northeastern with a BA or BS degree in XXXX. That is the bottom line. Someone else will need to comment on the merits CPS.

Instead of the College of Computer and Information Science, or the College of Business, or the College of Social Science and Humanities-- it’ll be the College of Professional Studies.

It’s not really the same thing, since it is the extension school, but no one will notice but you. It’s not like you say “I went to Northeastern” and people ask “Oh, what college?” They ask what major, your grades, etc.
