Colleges vary widely in what they accept as a portfolio for a freshman video production and/or film or media major. Aside from the length which is stated, although it varies from school to school, I’m looking for guidance. Please describe the video segments you submitted or post links to your portfolios.
Just telling me, as the college admissions websites do, to show my creativity and my unique voice, isn’t giving me a genuine clue as to what I should submit.
I don’t think submitting videos from my high school television station would be helpful to me. But I also don’t think I can create an entire story with a cast of characters and fit in a five or ten minute portfolio limit.
Please describe the videos you submitted. Again, links to your admission portfolio would be wonderful.
