Villanova acceptance rate to med school, science program quality

I know these stats can be manipulated so I would some clean apples to apples stats on how effective the Villanova science programs are and the real medical acceptance rate as compared to peer schools like Notre Dame, Holy Cross and University of Rochester.

Some colleges only report acceptances by students that the college “recommends” for med schools. Those colleges do everything they can to thin out the herd.

Other colleges try to persuade students that their chances may not be great, but don’t force them aside.

Holy Cross applicants have done exceptionally well in gaining admission to medical school. From 2004-2009, 82% of Holy Cross applicants were accepted on average each year into at least one medical school. (Keep in mind applicants first gained a recommendation from the program committee.) Over a 10 year period, Holy Cross averaged 70-80 students a year who went on to health professional schools (medical, dental, veterinary, podiatry, nursing, physician assistant, etc.). In the past several years, we have had at least one student accepted at each of the following list of medical schools.
