Villanova harder or babson harder to get into?

Title states my question…got wl for villa but accepted into babson and I was wondering is villa harder to get into than babson

well i got waitlisted at both, so think they are the same, you were probably just unlucky for villanova

In terms of what they’re looking for, Villanova has higher average SAT scores than Babson in Critical Reading and Writing, but about equal in Math I believe. But I’m pretty sure all the other criteria (GPA, essay, ECs, ETC.) is comparable. They’re also similarly ranked in the BusinessWeek rankings, with Babson at #17 and Villanova at #20.

Hopefully that helps.

The biggest difference is that they are looking for different things aside from grades and SAT scores. Villanova is a much larger school with various programs and areas of focus, so they look for well rounded students and use SAT scores for filtering through the many applicants (hence SAT’s are important). Babson is ONLY business, so they focus more heavily on the applicant’s interest in business, work experience, and leadership positions on the resume more heavily than SAT scores.

Hope this helped a little!
