So I am a senior in high school. I found Villanova University online yesterday while working on my applications and fell in love with it!
Uhmm... well my recommendation letters are coming out very well! Very very solid and complimentary. Happy with them. And i'm kind of known for being an amazing writer, so hopefully my essays will hold that to be true.

Soooo what do you think? Villanova/Holy Cross.. reach schools?? Any chance at all?

I think you will easily get into both colleges.

nice work emily. be sure to interview on campus, especially at The Cross.

My d is a sophomore at Holy Cross this year and she applied ED with stats lower than yours and no legacy. She did come from a Catholic School however. I think you should have no problem getting in both schools with your stats. The interview is almost considered mandatory at The Cross. If you have any relatives or friends that have gone to either school make sure you put that on the application both schools are big on legacy and unlike the ivy’s it doesn’t mean just your parents.

Thanks for the responses. I’m very happy to hear good things so far and I will take all ofyou advice. Please, if you look at post comment!

'Nova is a slam-dunk, HC is a low match. Aso give BC a look. Test scores on are the lowish side, but great essay could garner some interest.

I think both schools would be considered “targets” for you. Good chance of getting in, but rejection is possible.

You are a strong candidate. My D is at HC and didn’t interview but showed interest in emails and “chats” online.
Your AP classes, athletic participation and volunteer work are all good. They worry if you didn’t have strong classes because they do have a rigorous work load there.
Good Luck with both schools. If you need aid, I remember Villanova wasn’t overly generous with students, HC is 100% need. Either way, you have good choices.
