I’m going to major in Electrical Engineering, what are the pros and cons for each?
For me, UVa’s tuition is about $60,000 , while Villanova gives me financial aid about $35,000. Thank you!
This isn’t much of decision. Villanova is half the price and is very good at the undergraduate level in engineering.
Not even a close call.
Thank you! My physics teacher said Villanova’s engineering was weaker than Virginia’s and that made me worried. Now I’m less worried.
Villanova is very good for undergraduate. Nothing UVA can offer an undergraduate is worth $135,000 over four years.
There probably isn’t any difference in starting salaries between the two schools.
Villanova may be weaker according to some rankings, but its not $100,000 weaker (($65000-$35,000) x 4). Go to Villanova and put that money in your pocket - use it for grad school or a downpayment or get a huge head start on your retirement. Good luck!
Villanova’s engineering is not “weak.” I work with a few Villanova engineers, and one of them is in charge of the entire operation.
