First, are most kids from PA/NJ/NY? Because I am from the Midwest and worry about not fitting in with east coast people. Also, do a lot of people date/are they in relationships? Lastly, is it common for students to attend church service?
You should expect that practically all East Coast schools will draw a majority of their students from the East Coast. You can see a geographic profile of Villanova students at the following link, although I don’t know how current it is:
According to that source, most Villanova undergrads (58.8%) are from PA/NJ/NY. If you add in MA/CT/MD, the total rises further (to 78.1%). It’s probably over 80% if you throw in little northeastern states like ME/NH/VT/RI/DE.
There will be some Midwesterners at a school like Villanova, but not a lot. If you go to any East Coast school, you should be prepared to adapt.
- the school as mentioned is mostly kids from the north east but there a definetly pleanty of people from the midwest and other regions of the country. Like ik my roomate is from the Chicago area and hes had no problem fitting in with the NY/NJ/PA people.
- yes a lot of people date but probably just as many are single. Though the thing with villanova relationships is they have a really funny way of ending in marriages which is very strange to think about
- the church services are always packed after all it’s an augustinian school. It is very very common for students to attend mass and other religious services regularly.
