Can anyone tell me anything about VT’s International Studies program? What it’s like, difficulty, prestige compared to other universities and schools within VT, opportunities, anything you can offer… I am a prospective student and I know that VT is often regarded as a major STEM school and not so much for the humanities and social sciences areas. Also, I know that the best international relations schools are typically in cities, so will studying it in a more rural area be a disadvantage? I have the grades to get into higher ranked programs in city areas but I’ve had my heart set on VT for a long time.
