I looked on the school calendar for re-visit days and if they were not there I called the admissions office and they gave me the dates. We also are not assuming that my child will be accepted but since he did not have any on campus interviews we wanted to make sure my husband could request the time off. Re-visit dates were last weekend in March and during first week in April.

I found all but one of ours on the school websites. Our state’s standardized testing occurs during the prime revisit week, so if we are lucky enough to have some revisits, scheduling will be challenging.

Just wanted to let everyone know that cultivating a relationship with the AO I mentioned previously seemed to work. Kid was admitted to that school and wait listed by another (both GLADDCHEMS). At the other - where she is a legacy - the AO didn’t respond to any email at all (not even the first thank you email asking a question about admission). My kid sent one more and then gave up, because we didn’t want to “bother” him. I recommend trying to get to know the AO better if it was a good interview. Anyway - a very happy result because kid is going to the top choice!

Congratulations- but cultivating a relationship with the AO had absolutely nothing to do with your child’s acceptance.

I can vouch for that. My interviewer at St. Paul’s loved me and stayed in contact with me. Result- wait listed.
I interviewed at Exeter in September and had not talked to my AO at all after October. Result- accepted.
No contact with my AO from Loomis. She didn’t even respond to my thank you email. Result- accepted.

How can it hurt?
