Hello!
I'm a junior and I'm currently attending a less competitive prep school. I am hoping to attend Exeter my senior year and I'm visiting this weekend for my interview and tour. I was wondering if anyone had any advice about what they're looking for in incoming seniors? Will they ask me about why I'm leaving my current school in my interview? I've read many of the threads on this site, but I'd appreciate general advice about admission too! Thank you so much!

Be able to explain in 3 minutes why you are a great fit for the school. Know your stuff. What do you have to offer that other students do not?

Thank you!!

Good luck!

Yes, they’re definitely going to ask why you are leaving your old school, and what you can accomplish during your one year at Exeter. Acceptance rates for incoming seniors are especially low.

Oh whoops. This thread’s too old for my answer. I hope it went well!
