<p>I'm visiting Wash U for the first time next week, and am also having my first college interview there. Is there anything I should do/see in particular? Any tips for my interview?</p>

<p>Keep in mind that on campus interviews at WashU are usually done by students, so aside from the usual interview dos and dont's you want to come across as someone who the interviewer would want to have as a classmate and part of the school community. Try to show your personality and connect with the student interviewer. The interviews are very informal, it will just feel like you are talking to another student.</p>

<p>Yea, I just got back tonight. My interview was with a sophomore girl. In general, I liked Wash U alot.</p>
<p>D's interview last year was with an admissions officer and it was her best interview by far.....very relaxing and enjoyable, and one reason she chose WashU.</p>

<p>D's not home and it has been several months since her interview, but I do remember her saying she was asked about why she wants to go to WashU and what kind of music she listens too etc..mainly relaxed chit-chat.</p>
