<p>Interest income is interest that came off of any bank accounts, certificates of deposit and the like.</p>
<p>Dividends are earnings usually from investments such as stocks or bonds.</p>
<p>Other taxable income would be any other income you earned that was not included in a W-2 form or 1099.</p>
<p>As a practical matter, if neither you nor your parents know what these terms mean, then it is likely there is not much to report in those categories. For estimate purposes, you can put in zeroes.</p>
