I'm currently using Princeton Review which has a 300 word vocab list in addition to a supplementary list of over 100 words. For anyone who used Princeton Review, would you consider their list to be sufficient or should I look elsewhere? More generally, what would you guys most recommend for studying GRE vocab?

I recognize that there are much larger lists available than the PR list, but I don't want to waste time memorizing trivial definitions when they likely won't even show up on the test.

The Kaplan book has the 200 most frequent GRE words. You should know all of these—these words WILL show up.

Kaplan also has flashcards of the 500 most used words. It also comes as a book. You should go through these as well but don’t worry too much if you can’t remember every one of these words.

It is rlly just 500 words cuz the 500word flashcards include the 200 most frequently used words.

Large lists like the mega sized Barron’s list are a waste of time IMO.

But I have yet to even write the GRE yet and I haven’t managed to top 600V and 750Q in the POWERPREP practice tests.
