I found out that kids with ADHD and Learning Disabilities can often qualify for grants from their home states Vocational Rehabilitation Departments. These programs also dont seem to be well publicized.

My son has ADHD and some type of learning disability. He last had an IEP in 4th grade, but does have a documented disability, so he qualifies as a 504.

I found out pretty much by accident when poking around the internet that our state provides grants of $1200 a year for college students or high school graduates who are going on to any continuing education. This is in addition to any state or institutional financial aid provided.

Pretty much anyone with an IEP, 504, or documented disability will qualify after a meeting or two.

They will also pay for the diagnostic testing that is required every three years for my son to document his learning disability.

I also learned that most (perhaps all) other states have programs such as this. Vocational Rehab departments exist to make it so people with disabilities can function on their own and support themselves. Programs for college students are often under the radar, so you have to do some digging in many cases. The case workers in these departments are concentrating on people with far more serious physical and mental disabilites.

As far as I can tell, these programs are all administered at the state level, rather than Federal, so youll have to dig around in your own state government to find out how to get your child to qualify.
