<p>If I am a resident of GA, I was wondering can I register to vote in NY b/c i am going to college at USMMA? How does all the voting registration stuff work for going to out of state colleges?</p>
<p>Generally speaking, a college student can either register at home or in the city where they are going to school. It is optional.</p>
