I'm aware that in addition to the guidance counseler rec (which I believe is the school report on the common app?), we are suggested to submit at most 2 additional recommendations. I was wondering if they the officers would be particularly annoyed if I gave 3. My junior year grades were atrocious and I DO need to some how compensate more or less more or less for this.

In addition to a counseler rec, I wanted to get

1 from my Debate team coach who has known me for 4 years and has seen me grow up.
1 from my English teacher (and ENHS sponsor) who could assess me as a student and leader.
1 from my sophomore year AP spanish teacher who could talk very positively about my excellence and fluency in the language.

I want to show W&M my interest in international relations so I think Debate, Spanish (knowledge in foreign languages), and academics would be a useful combo for me. All of them are great recs that I believe would provide unique information that is not overlapped by one another.

HOWEVER it exceeds their recommended limit for recs by one.

What should I do?
