W&M Class of 2023 RD

Given there’s no access to a portal, do they send an email with the decision directly in it?

@Bizdock Yes, they send you an email directly with you decision somewhere between 5 and 6. If before you open the email it’s says “Good things” that means you were accepted!

Any more hints that this may be tonight? Did they tweet anything during the day last year to indicate that results were imminent?

@jessh2os Last year they let their applicants know decisions were going to be released a day before. However, that was only last year. In previous year they haven’t said anything thing until that night.

@Bluemarker thank you!

@jessh2os No problem! Good luck!

I’m so stressed out! What if they release today?!

@bluemarker I have a feeling they will… if CSS says the $ is coming out today, wouldn’t it makes sense for decisions to come out too??

Officially 5pm, this means it very well could be beginning to roll in!

5 PM EST and still nothing, I think decisions will come Friday. No hints or anything today, so I wouldn’t bet on it

Ahhhh! Good luck to everyone!

@lukas1221 You could be right. I think we should wait until around 6 though. In past years they have never been on time. Usually admissions tweets at around 5:30 or even 6:30. One time they even said they started emailing at 9:30!

do we think today is the day?

@denverapp Yes and No. Some of us think it’s today and others think it’s Friday. If you go back a few pages, you can see we have been discussing that :slight_smile:

Welp … looks like it won’t be today :confused:

@hg0987 yeah :frowning:

How do we know it’s not today now?

Hey, I received an email from W&M stating that I need to send them 1) my dad’s military orders, 2) copy of my military ID, and 3) a utility bill showing we live in VA (my dad is military, so they need these to show im in-state). Do you guys think this means I am possibly admitted? I find it hard to believe the school would make me send these documents if I were not admitted.

It is definitely a good sign, but I would be cautious. I have heard of colleges badgering for financial aid things of that sort a day before decisions were due and people getting rejections. I would take everything with a grain of salt just to be safe.

@Roblu37 Well they should have tweeted at around 5:30 or 6:30 that decisions were released but nothing has been said.
