All honors classes. 9th grade I was in IB. Have taken 1 AP classes. Also, (since im only in 10th grade) I am taking dual enrollment classes.</p>

Go to a very small ELITE public school, the rankings in usnews called it # 48 in the nation (but the rankings are b.s)</p>

<p>here's a question: why are you taking honors instead of APs? does your school just not offer AP classes in those subjects because if they are offered and you want to get into an elite school you should really take them...</p>

<p>also why do you have to take courses like US History, Chemistry, and Algebra 2 at a community college... your high school should offer those...</p>

<p>First question:</p>

<p>My school offers an average amount of AP classes but I choose to do honors because I substitute Dual Enrollment classes for it and also I have alot of ec's where AP would get in the way. Im really trying to balance my high school career not getting to academic yet not being to into sports and ec's. Basically I dont believe I can maintain AP,CC classes, and all my ec's. Also Are honors classes bad or something last time I checked they were considered advanced.</p>

<p>Question two:
Im taking all of these classes because I believe the education you get in these college classes are better than my high school classes. Plus I get US history out of the way and also need all of these classes for my AA degree.</p>
