Wait what?

I just got this e-mail:

"We are pleased to note that we have received your Regular Decision application to Stanford University and we have received all of the necessary credentials and materials to provide your application with a comprehensive evaluation. We request that you do not send us any additional credentials unless you feel they are absolutely essential for review. We will not be able to consider any additional credentials received after February 28th, as we begin our final committee selection process beginning the first of March. Admission officers will begin reviewing your application materials immediately and will continue to do so over the course of the upcoming weeks."

But I haven't sent my mid-year report yet. Should I send it?

I just got that too. But I already sent my mid years a week or two ago. I think you should send in mid years and whatever awards you will have by Feb 28. I'm still waiting for the results of a upcoming competition before I send in an update letter.

maybe your school sends the midyear reports automatically to all the schools you apply to (our school does)

I got that email too..

And I just got National Merit Finalist and people are saying I should update the schools, even in the face of emails like this.

I havent gotten this email yet. Will Stanford notify students if some credentials are missing?

^i think they do shruthi. they will inform you about what is missing in the email they send. if they have received everything they need they will send the email that the OP got (thankfully i got that one).

Thought so. But since I hadnt received a mail, I just got a little worried, since its already 15th.... Hopefully, should recieve a mail soon

I got the same email and I haven't submitted my mid-year report yet either. I figured I would just do it anyways? Maybe this week, just in case.

they told me my teacher evaluation #2 wasnt received. dunno which one of my teachers is #2

I got that letter twice and have not sent in my mid-year report. I sent it yesterday when I got the e-mail though so I suppose it works well. I live so closeby that they probably got it today.

I have the midyear report in my hand...this is a really confusing letter from Stanford, why are they asking that I don't send anything? =/

Should we just hold onto the midyears, or what?

I didnt even get this mail yet :(( And I am an international. Even if they ask me to send something, its going to take some time to reach there... Hoping to get the mail soon ......
