Waiting for Andover decision!

<p>I'm on the waiting list at Choate, and got a rejection from Exeter today...
That leaves Andover... normal mail and UPS have already come today, but do you think it's possible that UPS will come again or tomorrow with an acceptance??</p>

<p>I'm so nervous, if I don't get accepted...I don't even know.
I really need some reassurance!</p>

<p>Don't worry. I'm exactly in the same situation you are. Waiting list at Choate, Andover's the only other school... nothing. No normal mail and no UPS.</p>

<p>I'm trying to get off the waiting list at Chaote, though.</p>

Currently, I am waiting for Andover and Deerfield. </p>

<p>What grade are you in? If in the case that you aren't accepted, do you have good public school options?</p>

<p>Remain positive. You are indestructible. Yes, you are. :) There are infinitely many ways to be successful. Boarding school is just one of them. There are possibilities everywhere you go; even if it doesn't seem so, all it requires is willpower, imagination, and a bit of lunacy and opportunities will germinate like mustard seeds in cold water. :D </p>

<p>I'm in eighth grade, applying for ninth. I have public school options... Not to sound full of myself, but I think I'm overqualified. I'd be entirely bummed if I had to stay here.</p>

<p>But, even if I don't get accepted to Andover or Choate this year, I'm applying again next year.</p>

<p>Maybe not Exeter. I'm starting to think they aren't worthy. :D</p>

<p>shellmetaphor - I'm glad to hear it. :) You will do really well if you stay at your local public school. As I said, you can create opportunities for yourself. The prospect of not attending boarding school should not be daunting. Do what you would've done if you had been accepted. What are your interests?</p>

<p>Some are saying that rejections and wait lists are notified first and then acceptances arrive by UPS...
and vice versa...

<p>the acceptances arrive by UPS on Saturday (or should have) and i think the waitlist/rejections come today or tomorrow </p>
