I guess I won’t know my fate until Moday at the very earliest. Where do you live maybebc? Good luck to you anyways.

My D is on the wait list and has received no mail or tabs. We are in New Jersey.
Hopefully there still are some openings coming.

singbc, if BC did mail out final letters on Friday, then you would probably receive it by Monday at the latest. Good luck to you too. Let us know if you got anything.

I live in MA…and thank you …Good Luck to you also, and everyone else

I doubt that everything was mailed off on Friday then since we would have received it by now.

yea, i was thinking the same thing…

When BC first mailed out decisions, I received mine the next day so I see no reason why it wouldn’t be the same this time around.

I think I received mine the next day also. Altough, if it was mailed earlier in the day vs. late in the day, that could make a difference. I guess we will know Monday for sure, if something was mailed Friday.

“if it was mailed earlier in the day vs. late in the day, that could make a difference”

That crossed my mind as well. But I’m pretty sure that most mail is transported at night.

Possibility…hey, guys, I’ve been following this thread, and I just wanted to suggest a possible reason why a few of you still haven’t received a letter. Many schools (ex: Dartmouth, Penn, etc.) cut their waitlists down considerably and go to what’s known as an “extended waitlist”. Those few remaining students are left dangling to allow for any summer melt the school might have. Extended waitlistees are usually released by a designated date. It’s improbable they’ll get called, but there is always a slim chance. Good luck to all of you! BC is a great school, and I can see why you all want to attend.

Just got my letter. The wait list is done and the freshman class is filled.

bchse, what is your meaning? i got a transfer waitlist and the AO said the process would end in late june. you mean it is already over?

i wander if the transfer wl and freshmen wl are different?
does anybody know that?
i am quite worried about this.

This thread is for the freshmen wait list. I’m pretty sure the transfer one is different.

Sorry to hear BCHSEagles…this waiting list process was miserable. But I wish you the best in your selected school!

Thanks NJerseyM. It was a six month process that began in January only to end now in defeat.

Not your hoped for outcome (nor my daughters either who was waitlisted at both her first and second choices - ND and BC) but surely not defeat. Your presence on the waitlist indicates that you were qualified for BC…but they simply did not have the space. Out of 30,000 applicants, that is still something of an accomplishment. I trust you will be an asset to whatever school you attend…keep your head up.

have not received anything yet. I reside in Miami, Fl.

i live about 20 minutes from BC and i never got a letter saying the class was full or anything…i dont get it. and ive been writing to them so much, etc…
bummer

Well I officially received my waitlist rejection letter yesterday I am sorry the wait ended up a disappointment for many of us. I would like to wish everyone the best of luck at their future college.
