Waitlist Advice

I was waitlisted at Middlebury and haven't visited the school. Would seeing the school in person better my chances of getting off the waitlist? I know that for some colleges, they won't take such a visit into consideration when evaluating the waitlist candidates.

And, if you are admitted off the waitlist and you haven't seen the school, will they give you a sufficient amount of time to visit before you accept (or deny) the offer?

You will have 24 hours to decide whether to accept the offer, as a courtesy to other wait-listers.
I can’t imagine visiting wouldn’t improve your chances, as they don’t want to waste a spot on uninterested students…

I saw that last year, 800 students accepted the waitlist spot, and about 100-150 were admitted from it, so hey… you’d have a shot
