Waitlisted at CALS

can't you just put "undecided?"

no, CALS requires you to pick a major..only CAS allows you to apply undecided

okay guys... the official news is in (i called cals today). they are not going to the waitlist. have fun at your 2nd choice school everyone, im sure it will be amazing if not better than cornell (in your face cornell!).

Please expound... ahhh... are you sure they are done? Like ... FOR SURE? What were their exact words? say something like that...

lol... to follow thru on that note - anyone have any solid news regarding the engineering waitlist? i'm talking post-may 12th, when caltech and mit took ppl off... (u know why i'm talking post-may 12th, then) :)

yes i am sure... unfortunately i wish that i was lying. The woman after realizing who i was (because ive called about twice a week since the end of april) told me that they actually just found out yesterday that they would not be using the waitlist this year. she symphathized that she knew that i was feeling quite upset and told me if transferring to cornell was the route i may want to take in the future, to express so in writing to cals so that they know and it will help later on to have all of that in the file. (also i guess so they keep your file active) then we chatted for a little bit, but nothing of significance. I'll be honest, i will miss my weekly calls to cornell. best of luck to all...
