Waitlisted. Is it okay if I...

I was waitlisted at Brown, Middlebury, Swarthmore, and Pitzer (all my top choices, minus Pitzer). I was thinking of sending additional recommendations from two of my senior year teachers, a writing portfolio that covers my four years in high school, and a lighthearted video pastiche of 15-20 second clips of my friends sharing quirky, personal memories of me. Of course, each school will also get a letter detailing continued (and intensified!) interest, new achievements, etc.

Is that too much? I don't think I'll send the recs to Brown because they specifically stated that they don't want them in their Waitlist Q&A, but I don't want to overwhelm ANYONE with too much junk. At the same time... I so, so, SO want to provide them with anything and anything that might be persuasive!

That’s what worked for my S…except no video, I’m not sure anyone would watch it, frankly.

I looked at your previous ‘chance me’ thread, and I am very surprised that you were not accepted to your top choices. I am terribly sorry- college decisions were mere games this year :frowning:
I think, recommendations and writing portfolio would be wonderful and the video might provide an insight to your personality and exhibit creativity, if done right.
Best of luck!
