Waitlisted person any advice other than praying and waiting

Hi guys I just got waitlisted at UPenn and I was hoping you could tell me what to do. I just woke up in the middle of one night and wrote a 5 page essay on going to UPenn. I really want to get in and was almost hopeless after I got my waitlist decision. So what can I do to get in? Please don’t advice me to wait. Is there any regional advisor I could contact. Any alumni that might make a difference?

I also joined 2 different clubs in my school and made it to the states of my forensic’s competition and also made it to Chicago on the fed challenge team. Should I email my essays and new activities to all three of the following people? 1) the dean of admissions 2) the president (if I can find the address for him) 3) someone else probably someone second to the dean or head of student affairs

Simple answer? No. You can write a letter talking about why you want to go to penn and updating them on your achievements but if it’s not something that you think will impress a professor, don’t send it. Also, send it to the admissions office, not the dean or president.
